360 version looks adequate enough....I mean...its like the best looking shooter on consoles.
Its only competitor is Killzone3...and I choose the vibrant more lifelike visuals of Crysis 2.

From a scale perspective and a visual fidelity I choose these lush graphics than the grainy somewhat dull and over saturated KZ3 graphics.
personal opinion you can chew on this however you want.
I have an HDTV that costs in the 2thousand dollar range....but my old school 24 inch square shaped SDTV is what I use when I'm playing online.
For CoD for instance it just feels like I'm more accurate the game runs much smoother when on an SD same goes for Halo...
I take it as me being gamer that grew up on the Square shape going over to widescreen for competitive play hinders my true skill.

GOTY contender? No. This game feels like a launch title covered with ass particles compared to Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy 13, God of War 3, Mass Effect 2....it just cannot compete.
Singularity was more fun than this game.....and I actually liked Singularity a bit better.

Give me a futuristic shooter with the same Arcade style quickness as CoD without the communist Activision fiscal deadlines and we could REALLY have the only shooter you'll need till the next generation.
Halo Reach will be the game to have tho for your futuristic shooter.
All the last one really needed was a community that was dedicated...I'm more tahn sure Guerilla would of supported an active community on the scale of Call of Duty or Halo.
I was utterly disappointed in the decline of the active Killzone 2 players....I met more gamers and had more fun in the beta sadly.
This game was alright....but I don't think it was worth the wait.
I was rather disappointed...the visuals were great quality wise....but the game really had nothing going on it was just open space with weather and trees....oh and a flashlight. GG
Animations were horrid, voice acting was horrid, the story was GREAT...but it could of been implemented so much better. French writers are good but fall short on delivering the message in the most suspenseful way...

Killzone 3's graphics are underwhelming...when I look at the screens the only things that look good are the gun models and the character models...other than that the crappy environments are just masked with grain, weather effects or scripted action which might leave some blind fanboy under the impression the game looks good.
Honestly...it's quite underwhelming and it doesn't even look better than KZ2.
